Georg Fischer, group profile.
In 1802 Johann Conrad Fischer initiated the production of crosses from cast iron, on a small steelwork in Schaffhausen (Switzerland), establishing so an industrial company that operates today all over the world. Two hundred years later, Georg Fischer is a modern enterprise, whose central office is in Switzerland and with numerous centres of production in Europe, America and Asia.
The Group Georg Fischer is present in several fields of industrial applications, by means of production and engineering of processes, installations and systems from the technological and qualitative point of view very demanding, as well as his launch and sale in the involving markets. The Group, with more than 14.000 workers, is present at a world-wide level through his Divisions of Components for Automobile Industry, Piping Systems, Technology of Production and Engineering.
The Piping Systems Division, integrated in the Group Georg Fischer devotes itself to the development, acquisition, production and distribution of piping systems in the international markets. It is divided in five subdivisions and employs approximately 2.500 persons in the whole world.
Systems for Industry. Pipings, accessories and manual valves in thermoplastic materials.
Automatic. Electric and pneumatic acted valves and measurement equipments, regulation and control for piping systems. Measurement and control systems.
Distribution. Piping and accessories for gas and water distribution systems.
Domestic installations. Under pressure systems Hydrosanitary installations for hot and cold water nets.
Galvanized accessories. Georg Fischer`s classic product for domestic and industrial systems.
